The Palabritas Beach House in Peru by Metropolis Architects serves as a large picture frame focusing on the marvelous ocean views which the home overlooks. Rounded corners and bold red accents give the modern home a retro feel reminiscent of the 1960s. A small pool acts as a transitional piece between the interior and exterior while large glass windows provide generous views of the lovely Peruvian shoreline. The contemporary estate is lined in glowing lights that highlight the building’s unique stout and rectangular design. Completing the design, floating staircases and minimalistic aesthetic features add to the breezy feeling of the beach side estate. [via archdaily] View in gallery View in gallery View in gallery
